UNF English Professor, Clark Lunberry, will perform a 90 minute piece responding to COVID-19.

Join us on October, 21st, 2020 from 3-4:40 p.m. at the UNF Gallery of Art, or through the gallery’s YouTube Channel for a COVID-19 response-performance.

“UnReading the Newspaper (To My Dog)” is a Covid-related UnReading of the day’s newspaper to the captive audience of his dog—his constant, quarantined companion. In conjunction with the newspaper’s UnReading (and subsequent shredding), there will be a sound & film presentation simultaneously projected onto the gallery’s adjacent screen. Socially distanced seating will be provided for those wishing to attend all or part of this “live” event, or it can be watched online at UNF Galleries YouTube page.

Clark Lunberry is a Professor in the Department of English at UNF. Along with his interdisciplinary scholarship and teaching, Lunberry creates site-specific “writing on water | writing on air” art and poetry installations, placing large-scale poems on water and windows:
